Nesting - etch part number and sheet name

hi everyone,

we looking for an easy way to etch on every part, sheet name and part number (see attached picture).

So that we can match each cut out part to the exact sheet!

I don't have the final solution, but I think iLogic can be used to feed text into sketch which could then be used for etching.

One way of getting it done is to place a text on the Flat Pattern itself. When creating a Flat Pattern DXF file - the text will be there on its own layer. That layer has to be marked as an etching one in the Laser cutting machine's software.
In later releases of Inventor (beyond IV2020 one) - there is a dedicated function available for this very task. But for earlier releases - a simple sketch with the text should work just fine.
