Multi part/level process experiences

And what are your experiences with this method?

Or are you using simple skeketal modelling techniques like Multibody Design or equal.

I don't do it this way.

I do use a Master Assembly to get "reference" from "referenced" or "purchased" or "customer" parts.

"Referenced Parts" -> "Master Assembly" -> "Master Sketch" -> Everything else

I need to read through it to see how exactly its done.

I don't think I've done it.  I only Project from sketch.  Always avoid part to part unless necessary.

And when I need, I put the part in Master Assembly, Project into Master Sketch before I use it.

I avoid that adaptive icon as much as possible.

The Multi-part one doesn't have Derive.

It maybe similar to SSP in Solidworks.
