modeling on rounded asymmetrical solid surface

Hi I'm having trouble creating a solid on the surface of another solid. I created curves on the face of the solid, then created the rounded profile at various heights/on work planes along the curves, as shown in the screen shot. I cannot loft along the curves, or sweep, and I'm not sure how to approach making this shape. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! In 3D Sketch environment, you can draw on the vase face by using Curve on Face command. Would it help?
