Model State Custom-Formatted-Exported Params not formatting in BOM

I have a user parameter for ft^2 in my Sheetmetal parts w/ a Custom Format to round and remove the string, that I use  to total each Gauge/Thickness of material for Purchasing. I tried the Model State (not impressed so far) on a few parts which has been annoying with the amount of "updates" they require during the process... but the most annoying is that any part that has a model state, even if its not used, the custom formatted parameter (QTYPER) does not show up in the BOM with the custom format, rather the long 1.xxx-xxxxxxxx ft^2 rather than 1.2 which can rollup... any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi! This is either doable or a bug (a limitation). I think there is probably a setting in Custom Parameter Format not set right. But, it is unclear to me which one is the culprit. Please share the example here. I can take a look to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

I'll try to get something uploaded tomorrow, but its definitely not the custom parameter... I have the exact same in every part and the only ones that don't come through are the ones with a Model State, even if the active model state "Master"... as soon as I delete the model state, it populates the parts list just fine..

and to make it more clear... If you look at the Custom iProperty of the part, it shows up as it should, its only in the .idw Parts List...
