Missing content files

I have some Inventor drawings that were created on a computer that I do not have access to its content center files any more.

I have tried every possible way to regenerate those parts by trying to find them manually in the Inventor library but i had no luck.

if anyone could share with me those drawings that would be great.

Hi @Anonymous,

you can also make a Assembly and place all the missing content center files and save the assembly

the files will be created.

Then you can Delete the Assembly but the content center files will be in your content center files folder.

The Assemblies with the missing files will now find the them.

i thought about doing that but the problem is i have no idea how to find most of those parts in the library using the part description!!

the file name doesn't tell you exactly what is that part.

@Anonymous I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Inventor Forum.
Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

If someone finds the files and posts them but the wrong version it will be useless, what version of Inventor are you using?

There has to be a bit more information than your list, for instance the Unbrako part has three different options, without knowing what kind it is somewhat difficult to amass the parts for you.

Can you attach your drawing that has the missing parts? Depending on how it's showing up in the browser, BOM, part list, etc the destination/description of the part might show which the location you want.

If you don't know what type of part you're looking for and just have those file names, it might be very difficult as I'm sure you've found.
