Mesh Enabler Not Loading - Inventor Professional 2023

Hello,

I've been trying to get mesh enabler to work with Inventor Professional 2023 however no matter what I do, the add-in remains unloaded. In the add in menu, I'll switch it to loaded manually and then click okay (load automatically is on but even when I start, it remains unloaded), when I later go into the menu, it still appears as unloaded and none of my changes to the add in menu applied.

Mesh Enabler only shows up with mesh imports as STL or OBJ.

Did you test with a mesh file?

Yes, I've been trying to import an STL and Inventor will open the STL, the add on doesn't load.

Oh. Same experience here.

Convert to Base Feature option appears in 2022, but not in 2023.

Hello, what is the solution to use mesh enabler with inventor2023 ?

It's tricky. I tried a new 2023 install on my notebook, and it worked. I think, it's been broken by an update of 2023.

Perhaps rocky.zhang@autodesk.com  can shed some light.
