Using the new mark feature in inventor. You create a sketch, create text, choose font. It then creates an etched feature.

The problem is that the writing is a loop and not a single line. When the plasma follows  this etch line it will actually travel twice as far because of the loop.

Is there anyway to make a "single line" text?

Hi Jack,

Yes, it is controlled by Mark Styles. Go to Manage -> Styles Editor -> Mark -> Mark Surface -> Text -> Stroke. You can also make the change in the part template file so it will persist in any newly created part file.
