Lofted Flange between 3 sketches Inventor 2017

Dear All!

I would like to make a lofted flange between 3 sketches. I have two sketches on two parallel planes, but I have a third sketch on a plane which is perpendicular to the other two. Attached pictures show the product. Is there a possible way to make this with lofted flange command?

I made a flat pattern from the original lofted flange (between two sketches), drawed the flat pattern in a new sheet metal and modified it, then folded it back and this way I got the product which I need. However, this way is not the best for me, I would like to make the product with Lofted Flange.

Thanks for any help (I was thinking about 3D sketch, but it didn't work also)

Why not just add an extra face to your lofted flange?

sorry, 2018 file attached, but just noticed you have 2017 so i hope this screenshot is clear enough:

Thanks for the answer!

I tried this before, but for some reason I can't make a face command on the additional sketch. I don't know what the problem is..

Attached part file and picture.

Your sketch doesn't have a closed profile, it just looks that way but it's spread over sketch 12 and sketch 13:

If you close the loop in a single sketch it should work. Smiley Wink

Thanks!

You were right, it works now.

However, is there a possibility to make a lofted flange between 3 sketches? 🙂

From what i can tell the lofted flange function only allows 2 inputs, so i guess not.
You could use the normal loft function to create a surface that you then thicken, but you'd have to be real careful that there is not deformation, since it won't be able to flatten if there is.
With the shape you made, if you made a 3D sketch out of sketch 2 & 12 you'd end up with a deformation using normal loft.
