LOD views

I made an assy, then used the LOD to show a simplified cut view. Problem is the  assembly balloons do not attach to this view..

Hi! I think you are trying to use LOD for configuration purpose. LOD in general is a memory managing tool, not a configuration tool. Suppressing/unsuppressing component is loading and unloading the component from memory. It does not change the BOM and PartsList. You could use iLogic rule IsActive() to get the desirable result in a custom LOD. If you cannot figure out, please feel free to post an example and experts can comment further.
