Lock or Snap Leader

I am using a leader for the title view line. Is there a way to lock a leader or snap it to a straight horizontal line? CTRL does not work. 

Every time the view title is moved, the end of the leader does not move with everything else and must be manually adjusted:

I also suffer from not being able to snap a line to the horizon.

Not a solution to your problem, but the current version (as of today) of Inventor 2020 is 2020.5.4, so you're quite a few updates behind.

Hi! In terms of snapping the leader, you may press Ctrl and drag the leader line. It will snap to 15 deg increments.

Holding or pressing CTRL has no effect or snapping features. 

Is there a setting or some technique I am missing?

This only works after the pointer is set. Interestingly, for marking holes, this method works fine. I think there is some kind of bug here.

This is what I was looking for. The Leader needs to be set in the correct position and then I can move the title portion and it snaps. Thanks.

I just upgraded from Inventor 2015 to inventor 2023 the other day and this is one of 2 major annoyances I have encountered so far. In the previous version the leaders would automatically snap to the 15 degree increments when placing/moving dimensions on drawings. Now it appears I have to hold ctrl every time. Is there any way to change this setting back to the old way so I don't have to hold ctrl every time?

Hi Kyle,

The behavior change was intended. It seems that majority of the users like the default to be free drag. And, enable snapping by pressing the Ctrl key. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to revert the behavior. I am sorry.
