Liquid within a routed-system, chamber etc.

Hey there, I am new in Inventor 2017

-I am building a circulation loop for a presentation and I am wondering whether I can somehow insert fluid within my loop but just for illustration reasons. Let's just to beautify it.

- additionally, I want to make a video animation of my piston in inventor studio, not as a uniform movement but with steps in-between. Is that possible?

Cheers,

Manos

Hi! Inventor is a solid modeler so the geometry is usually rigid. You could probably create a part with a wavy shape and set the material or appearance to one of the transparent appearance styles.

Regarding Studio animation, you should be able to control the acceleration profile. You could sharpen the transition by changing the percentage of the motion.

Many thanks!

Hi thank you for your reply, regarding the liquid animation I have seen some interesting approaches by @mflayler but I am not really sure whether I can implement it.
