I'd love to see Inventor's edit and similar palettes have more of the useful commands available at top level versus having to click on one-at-a-time buttons to bring up secondary windows to make changes...

This is something we are trying to do with modernisation efforts.

The new property panel tries to put everything on one screen and make it easier to see what is available. Unfortunately it takes a long time to implement the new design as we don't just want to make things look nice, we also want to improve the experience so eventually we may get round to modernising the parts list.

Thanks for the information, James.

Inventor can certainly use a streamlining to the entire editing processes needed within drawings, assemblies and parts.

Will be quite nice to see once the program designers can pin this down.

Setup different Styles and just change Style.

An option, but for certain tweaks and changes, edit screens should just be simplified and faster to work with (along the lines of how the Format Text editor window is set up where many different variables can be set from one screen).
