Hello.

I have noticed, that on half of workstations in my company there is self disapearing model tree tab when section view is selected. It disapears when section is accepted or canceled.
This started happening after latest patch (2023.1).

Hi! I am sorry I cannot seem to reproduce the behavior. Please try the following change.

1. Try using the Windows recommended resolution and scaling display settings.

2. Right-click on the Inventor desktop icon -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Change High DPI settings -> check both boxes.

3. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Environment variables -> create "QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR” and set it to 0.

Many thanks!

Hi.

Unfortunately, changes proposed by you did not helped with this issue.

I dont think it is scaling issue, but i all workstations use dual 4k monitors with 200% scale.
I will try to reset Inventor setings to default and then i will post if that worked.

Edit:

Factory reset does not work and issue is still present.

Hi! I have some information to share. This particular issue is related to Inventor NASTRAN. If the add-in is loaded, the browser panel does behave as you described. It has been reported as NASMECH-4404. At the moment, I don't know when it will be fixed. As a short-term workaround, if you are not working on NASTRAN, you may consider unloading it.

Many thanks!

Hi.

I have verified your infromation and it looks like disabling nastran addin does work. As you mentioned, this is more of a temporary solution but I dont work with nastran everyday so this is not so big inconvinience.
