Issue getting Inventor to recognize hardware drivers in VMWare and Parallels environment.

Hello everyone,

I recently switch over to the new M2 chipset with MacBook Pro, and I'm have issues with Inventor recognizing/using the hardware performance drivers.

Obviously the capabilities and Direct X support are there within the two Virtual environments, but for whatever reason Inventor doesn't seem to pick up on it and I keep getting this notification.

Is there anyway to "force" hardware acceleration regardless of whether or not a driver is "recognized"?

Thanks in advance.

I'm just going to add here that AutoCAD will recognize the driver as being capable of hardware acceleration. So I'm pretty sure this is just a Bug/flaw in Inventor. So if anyone has any recommendations on how to submit it to Autodesk as such. I'd be happy to do so.

Hi! I am not sure if this article would help you. Please take a look at the last statement at the bottom of the page.

Many thanks!

Yes, I had seen this information prior, and unfortunately it was not relevant to my/the particular issue I'm dealing with.

Again, I'd classify this (slightly) as a bug/flaw of inventor for not recognizing the Virtual drivers as being Hardware Acceleration capable. AutoCAD will  (but there is a Mac version for that one), but Inventor will not.

Thanks for the consideration. It is appreciated.
