Irregular Pattern

I am looking to create a patter that follows a curved path rather than that of a circle or rectangle. Features of the pattern keep appearing outside of the borders and I cannot delete them without removing sections of my existing model.

Any ideas?

Hi! Have you try sketch-driven pattern in 2017 and later? You can create sketch points on the face (via sketch pattern or mirror). Then use the sketch points as reference for placing the pattern occurrences.
