.ipn sub-assembly help

Hello,
I am working on a final assembly drawing showing sub-assemblies being mounted on a teststand. My problem is when I bring in the frame of the teststand and the sub-assembly it is too many parts to move in the .ipn drawing. I just want to show. Is there a way to move the entire sub-assembly in the .ipn drawing?

Not sure if i understand, but if you tweak parts in an ipn you can also select entire assemblies from the browser tree.

Is it worth creating a single part derivative of the sub-assembly and using LOD and
an associate link to the IPN control what's being seen

Duncan,
Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I only have about 800hrs-ish on Inventor, At this point I have no experience using level of detail. Thanks.
