Why create ipn if I can use Inventor Studio to create video via Animation Timeline. And why use Render Image in Inventor Studio if I have Ray Tracing that gives results as good. Is this a stupid question to ask?

Not a stupid question, here are some things why the environments are different:
Ipn gives you tweak trails and the ability to have multiple scenes defined in a single document which you can use on a drawing (idw/dwg).
Render image (or rather, Studio) gives you the ability to add extra lights and set up cameras.

Then why have these functionalities scattered all over the place instead of them being in one place. It would be way more convenient is there was a single option in the ribbon where one could find all these.

Well, in case of ray-tracing and studio... i don't think they're really scattered.
Making a quick raytrace of your viewport isn't the same as setting up a render or animation.

As for ipn's... i guess there could be improvements there, but having it as a separate document does make it really clear what it is.
I'd imagine it could somehow be integrated in the assembly document, but you'd have to be able to differentiate between exploded and non-exploded states and their respective features properly.
That would probably lead to very bloated documents that would be more error prone.
