Inventor Sheet Metal mm Template Differ From Punch With Inch Units

Hello,greetings of the day.I made my template of sheet metal in mm but when i'm using punch tool it's showing only in inches that too some predefined values.How can I over come this?

Most of punch tools are created in inches as unit. I think it's not possible to change unit from inch to any when inserting.
You need to create a new ide in mm as unit or edit existing ides.

IDE means iFeature. The punch tool iFeatures are in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 201X\Catalog\Punches

when choose punch tool the dialogue box opens like the attachment

Hi! I think you can open the .ide file in Inventor and change the default parameter values. Depending on the geometric condition, if you change the parameter value too drastically, it can lead to modeling failures. Try it out and see if the desirable mm values work for you.

Hi! The process is pretty straight forward. Simply open the ide file in Inventor. There is a button called "Edit iFeature." You can change the default parameter values in the extracted features. Could you try it out and see if it works?
