I need to understand what is defining what, and how do I make a permanent template, to apply to all my drawings.

I have made a titleblock but cant access it.

This is my drawing template:

I don't use sheet format.  All size drawings use same border.

Which title block is it you're trying to insert? in or mm?

You should just be able to right button click on the once you want and from the menu that opens select insert.

Your title block is defined within its sketch, and many of the fields will be auto-populated via drawing and/or model properties, plus prompted user-inputted attributes upon creation.

How and where did you made the titleblock?

Everything saved in the drawing file.  Under Drawing Resource.

Save the file as Template and new drawings can use it.

Best is overwrite those Standard.* templates.  Lots of IV commands use them by default when creating new files.

To get new Titleblock into old drawings, you need to copy them.

Open both files.  Right click the titleblock you want to copy and select copy.

Go to the other drawing and paste it in Drawing Resource.

You can copy everything by copying Drawing Resource.

You should make sure both files are using same Styles.
