Inventor Nesting 2022: how do I fix not being able to add Vault source files?

I keep getting this error whenever I try to add source files from Vault in Inventor Nesting. Is this a server issue, Vault issue, or an issue with nesting add-in itself?

Hmm, that's a little weird... Fetching Vault files in ANY context is part of Vaults core funcionality, and it DID work a couple of annual releases earlier. That Autodesk all of a sudden should concider that to be a "DeLuxe-feature" and restrict it to the top-shelf version of Vault would be a bit unbecoming of them when the method worked with Vault Basic earlier...

@fridtjofZM5ME What version of vault and what version of Inventor Nesting are you using?  Was this working for you before?  Have you updated either of them recently?

Hi @MattWynn I'm currently using Vault Basic 2022.0.1 and Inventor Professional 2022.0.1.

I've been using Inventor and Vault together since mid 2018 (meaning since Inventor 2019) and adding source files from Vault in the nesting environment worked from then up until some time last fall I think (maybe earlier). It stopped working some time ago, but I didn't find it bothersome until recently. The nesting environment was actually the main reason we got the PD&M package to begin with.

Regarding updates, I tend to do them as soon as they are available to me through the Autodesk Desktop App. I also do Windows updates regularly, but it doesen't feel like that is to blame in this particular case.
