Inventor intermittant support of SHX text and justification issues

I'm using an "Inventor dwg" (originates from inventor -> save as "inventor drawing files (.dwg)).

In AutoCAD I then insert a client's autocad titleblock block which uses shx fonts.

When I open this back in inventor (to do the drawing), sometimes the shx font is displayed correctly, other times it is substituted with the Inventor "standard" style. (I'm not sure what triggers this)

Even when it is shown as shx I can still edit the attributes and they still update and show as shx fonts.

The problem is when the font gets substituted, the justification messes up (centre and right justified).

See the below screenshots:

When I open these in Acad again (say to export to pdf with the correct fonts) the text position is still wrong and I need to manually do a work around to fix it (edit the block to make it "refresh") and it's easy to miss.

Inventor uses ttf fonts and does not work well if at all with shx fonts.. Best thing you can do is run from shx fonts and never look back..

I guess the key issue is why Inventor is moving the text, with the observation that this happens when Inventor substitutes the font (which it does not always do and does not need to do).

I can edit the attributes when they display as shx and the new text still displays as shx (and doesn't move), so evidently Inventor has enough support for shx fonts to do this.
It's just that when Inventor "remembers" that it's not supposed to support shx fonts and substitutes a new font that things mess up.

As a side note, in the second screenshot above it's even substituting a different shx font in place of the original for some reason.
