Inventor crashing when checking in a new file for Vault

Hey! As the title states, whenever I create a new file (.ipt) in inventor and go to check it in to the appropriate spot in Vault, it crashes. So far here is what I've done with IT:

-Reinstall Vault 2022 / Inventor 2022

  - Changed order of installation (we have uninstalled / installed twice)

- Updated all drivers (NVidia A3000 12GB notebook GPU) to latest versions

- Updated Lenovo BIOS to latest versions

The odd twist is that the files will actually save onto Vault, and after they are uploaded will behave completely normally. I can make edits and check-in / check-out without any problems.

Vault Version : 27.0.80.0

Inventor Version : 2022.3(?)

1. For installations, always install Vault last. Vault has add-ins for numerous applications such as Inventor, Acad, as well as Windows apps like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. which by doing so, during the Vault install, the process will "see" these other apps and automatically install its menus on the applications command ribbon.

2. Can you provide the file or does this happen on all new files?

3. Does any other apps, like Acad, fail when doing the same process?

4. Lastly, do you have any 3rd party add-ins installed for Inventor or Vault?

1. Good to know! If we end up reinstalling again I'll make sure we do that. I do remember that being the order the second time around when we reinstalled both.

2. It is all new files. I've made a bunch of test .IPTs that all end up the same way.

3. This is the only app that we currently use with Vault, so I can't speak for other programs. We do have Mechanical 2022 that I use regularly, just not with Vault yet. We're pretty new to the ecosystem, but I am the only person having this problem on our server.

4. Not to my knowledge. I'll double check with my boss just to make sure, but I think we're operating on the vanilla installation without any add-ons currently.

Are you set up to have dwf's created of your files on check in?  You can check by following the image below (btw, #1 is just opening the check in dialog).  If you do, try unchecking that, and see if that helps the crashing.  At least it would point us in the right direction.  Good luck!

Hi! I vaguely remember this was a known issue in Vault, which has been addressed in Vault 2022.2 update. Please install the update and report back the findings.

Many thanks!
