Hi Experts
When I try to do as shown in link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvrMA15pj2o
I cant make 2 bodies in the copied body.
What am i doing wrong ?
Thanks
Basil
This is my video, I will just check for you.
Are you clicking the solid button in the copy command? This should automatically make two bodies.
Basic steps:
Two parts in an assembly.
Double click one.
Use copy object and click on the other
Select the solid option
Click OK (object is copied as a second body)
Click on return (blue arrow top right)
Open the part on it's own and there should be two bodies.
When you use the combine feature after to do a cut/combine it will become a single body again.
And found answer for one of my old question.

I tried doing this for a model for which I require a flat pattern (sheet metal part), but after combine cut & delet face is done, it is not letting me to make the flat pattern.
Are your rads and thickness Correct?
Attach your part if stuck.
See this video:
It's definitely in 2018, did you try selecting body instead of face?
