Inventor Content Center DIN Flange has the wrong type of facing for Plant 3D spec

I created a tank in Inventor to be able to export it (Environments - BIM Content - Pipe Connector - Simplify -> .adsk) to AutoCAD Plant 3D as an equipment.

For the nozzles I used Content Center Flanges (fe: DIN 2633 Welding Neck Flange Type C Series 1 (ISO) - PN 16) However when imported in Plant 3D the facing type of these flanges is listed as "C" while the spec. files for these flanges in AutoCAD Plant 3D need them to be listed as "B1" for me to be able to connect them to the parts from my spec.

When looking through the table view of these flanges I cannot find a property (or iproperty) that lists the facing.

Does anyone know of the way I can change this, so that once I export them to .adsk and import them to AutoCAD Plant 3D the facing type of the nozzles will be listed as "B1"?

The only place the face type is listed is in the name, could Plant 3D be picking up the geometry and setting as a certain type?

You may need to make a custom library if you have no luck.

Hello,

thank you for your reply

I have found the source of the problem. In AutoCAD Plant 3D all nozzles even those imported through .adsk are determined by the nozzle catalog. If I add the needed nozzles with the correct facing to the nozzle catalog in the AutoCAD Plant 3D Spec editor I can then I can set the correct nozzle in Plant 3D. The only thing Inventor is driving is the geometry, and the pre-options Nominal Diameter and end type just serve to pre-select from the possible nozzles in the nozzle catalog once the equipment is imported in Plant 3D.

So in the end it was not an Inventor "issue" but a Plant 3D "issue".
