[Inventor 2024] Typing problem in General Table

Hi guys!

I installed the latest version of Inventor and I have a problem (I tried on two different workstations): when I start writing in the fields of the table, the characters disappear and I can't see what I write. When I leave the field, the typed text magically appears. So the data is entered, but you can't see anything as you type in the fields. That i a big problem for me, because I make extensive use of tables in my drawings.

Do you have the same problem?

Any idea?

Thank you.

Luca.

Hi! We do seem to have a table editor issue here. Another user reported a similar problem last week.

I am working with the project team to understand the issue better.

Many thanks!

Not sure if it helps but I've seen the same thing when editing a BOM within the drawing environment as well.

Hi! Unfortunately, it is indeed a confirmed defect on 2023.3 and 2024. It has been reported as INVGEN-68675. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Many thanks!

Has this ever been resolved? I'm having the same issue with my newly installed 2024 and it is annoying and driving me nuts!

I'm on 2024. The latest update for mine is 2024.1.1, which includes no mention of a fix for this in the notes. I've never had this issue til 2024.  Everyone in my office has the same issue.

Hi! The fix to INVGEN-68675 should be included in 2022.5.1, 2023.3.1 and 2024.1 (and 2024.1.1). It is possible I misunderstood the issue. Could you share a screenshot or a video showing the exact behavior?

Many thanks!

Here is another thread talking about the similar issue, which is indeed fixed on 2023.3.1. https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-forum/revision-table/td-p/12228421

Many thanks!
