Inventor 2024 is now released

Hello Everyone,

Inventor 2024 is now released; please see these two links for more information around the new enhancements:

Many of the enhancements originated from the Ideas board; the status of all implemented Ideas will be updated in the next few days.

A list of major issues addressed is also available in the Online Help here. The Inventor 2024 installer should be available from https://manage.autodesk.com/products.

It wasn't loaded, and loading it fixed my issue.

Not sure why it wasn't set to load automatically, nor why those functions are hidden in an Add-in like that

Is Inventor 2024 compatible with Vault 2022? We are currently running Inventor Pro and Vault Pro 2022, however we are trying to make a case to update to Inventor 2023 or 2024 as certain updates would be beneficial to our facility. However this would probably have to be done without updating our version of Vault (long story). Thanks!

No, unfortunately not. If you upgrade Inventor then you should also upgrade vault too. Note that Vault does support older releases of Inventor though - that doesn't help you right now but may in future.

I have just gone live with 2024.

Thoughts:

It may be my imagination, but 2024 appears to be smoother and faster, it feels more refined and polished 2023.

The revision clouds are a welcome addition

Sill outstanding are tube end symbols, and the ability to select break lines in the drawing environment.
