Hello,
When exporting an assembly or a part in BIM component, dwg files are created in the temp directory. Each file corresponds to a 2D view of the exported component. For specific needs of my company, I recover these files.
The only problem is that the units of these 2D files are in inches while those of the exported component and the BIM file are in millimeters.
I have done several searches in case there is a default setting to change but without success.
Does anyone have a clue or an idea to help me find a solution to my problem?
Are these results of calculations internal to Inventor and not modifiable?
Thanks.
Vincent.

Does anyone know if Inventor uses a specific template to create the 2D files? Template or units would be in inches.
Thanks.

Hi,
While doing a search for all *.dwt files on my PC, I found a folder named Support in this location "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2022\Compatibility\Support" which contains several. For me only the files in this folder are related to Inventor, the others I found are related to AutoCAD or Fusion 360.
I tried to make an export having previously renamed this folder and the export worked. I also tried to do an export having previously changed the extension to .bak of all the *.dwt files but the export also worked. And this even by restarting the PC after the modifications.
Does having other identical files like acadiso.dwt for AutoCAD or Fusion cause Inventor to use those if it can't find the one in the folder named "Support"?
@johnsonshiue Do you have information that could help me in my research? Can you help me?
Thanks.
Vincent.
