Hi Autodesk Forum, First off, I'm not an Inventor user however I form part of the IT team at my company (though I'd like to highlight my first role is not IT related as this is outsourced.)
We have a user using Inventor 2019, with a fairly strong computer specification (Windows 10, 32GB RAM, i7-8700 and a Nvidia P1000 all with latest updates).
With a particular Inventor model, one which I assume is on the larger size and level of detail/complication (In terms of the models we create, It is ~700mb parts and assemblies included) the user is experiencing constant slow down, freezes and crashes. I have had a look and selecting individual parts takes around 30-40 seconds and constraints lead to slow downs.
As mentioned this is model specific, other models do not experience these issues. The latest Inventor updates have been installed along with Graphics drivers. This has been an ongoing issue which a fresh OS install, fresh Inventor install did not resolve. It was also recreated on another machine. Hence why I believe it is model specific.
Can someone please point me in the direction or advise on what needs to be done to resolve this issue?
Whatever infomation you need please do ask, I have system info, DxDiag etc available and can show videos of the issue at hand if needed. Attached is the hardware diagnostics report if that helps at all.
