Hello,

I hope that out there there is somebody that can help with an odd probplem I'm having with autodesk local lighting.

I need to create a linear light, a LED bar, that illuminates some objects.

I have created a bar of Luminous material, like explained in this post

However Inventor does not allow to modify and resize the dimension of a light giving it a rectangular shape, so I decided to insert many local light points inside the luminuous bar to to have more light to finally achieve the LED bar linear effect.

I started copying and paste the lights and only 8 lights are swithed on, if I insert more light points  they don't render, anybody knows how to fix this bug

I have seen somebody else had the same problem

I have attached an image that clearly shows the issue

It might be a "limitation"..

I found other posts (not specifically about autodesk) stating an 8 light limitation from the OpenGL days...
