Inventor 2015 colours

Not applicable

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

I have just upgraded from 2012 to 2015 Inventor and from 2013 to 2015 Inventor Publisher. Previously, when i wanted a pristine white component in 2012 Inventor i used white (flat), which was a slightly dull grey when the file was opened in Publisher 2013.

Now in Inventor 2015, the white (flat) changes to 'snow' when an older files opened and appears a dirty grey in the model - not very nice. However, the same file in Publisher 2015 now looks a bright white - very nice!

Why has there essentially been a swap in the colour appearance? Is there some setting i need to change to get the 'snow' white to appear properly white in the inventor 2015 model? I often use jpegs of  models but the dull grey would put me off doing so.

Thanks

Alan

The Visual Style was on Realistic - this changes the appearamnce dramatically in comparison to Shaded.
Checked whether the Visual Style setting in Inventor affects the appearance in Publisher - it doesn't. So there's obviously been some improvements to the colours in Publisher.

You need to set self illumination on. I don't use it because I have white background and I wouldn't be able to see my parts.
