Image does not get rendered? Inventor Studio.

Hi all.

How come this green/orange text on my hose does not get rendered?
It renderes as full black instead.

I use the .PNG file below.

What version of Inventor?

Is that done using the tube/pipe module or cable/harness?

Just a sweep? Surface or solid?

Its working for me in 2020 on just a regular extrusion..

Inventor 2020 and the hose is made using Tube&pipe 🙂

For me it does not even work on an extruded part.
Just renders black using generic apperence.

That works fine, but adding the material from your part to favorites and using it on the original hose does not work.

What am i missing?

I have placed your part in assembly and it does actually render, but only at the ends of the part.
Weird bug maybe?

So, it turns out to be a position/scale thing.
After playing around with the scale and position settings it worked.

I did have to change the texture to avoid the transparent parts showing as heavy black.

Adding background with noise in photoshop helped.

Thank you for your time mcgyvr.

What does 2/18 on the tube mean?

I am not sure?

Maybe the manufacturer know?

They should 🙂
