I can't get Inventor to load

I  have installed Inventor but when I open it I get ; application was unable to start (0x0000142) click okay to close. Does anyone know wkat is wrong? I have windows 10 64 bit.

I had a look at the various threads and it looks like 2014 is not supported on Windows10.

What you could try, is to apply any possible install tricks/fixes for windows 8.1. This is just a thought, and have no idea if it will solve your immediate problem, at least until someone comes back with a definite answer.

As Reg mentioned you should install the latest updates and service packs.

You might want to look at the .NET and reinstall. If you seach this forum there are a couple of posts with respect to Windows 10. As also referenced, you should install all SP's and Updates as well for your version of Inventor.
