How to Snap to Corners of a Rectangle/Cube?

I apologize, but Inventor is proving less intuitive then I remembered it. Basically, I sketched a rectangle, and new to creat a vaguely trapezoidal shape.

So I’m using lines to sketch the lengths of the shape that I need, but the lines just won’t snap to the corners of said rectangle, which afterwards I’ll extrude some portion of the original rectangle.

Should not I be able to snap to the corners of the rectangle I sketched automatically?

Hi! You will need to enable auto-project (go to Tools -> App Options -> Sketch -> check "Auto-project edges during sketch creation"). Or, project the geometry manually.

If it still does not work, please share the file here. There should be a logical reason to explain it.

Many thanks!
