Hi, I'm using Inventor 2025 and have the following problem.
In my drawing, I am using flat pattern views of a circular part with a radial hole pattern.
The hole pattern does not align with the origin planes so I am using the flat pattern with rotation controlled by a reference parameter.
Here, you can see the part, the underlying derived sketches and the 11.76 reference parameter that I'm using to rotate the flat pattern.
On the drawing, Automated Centrelines did dot show the holes as a pattern with a PCD, just as individual hole Centre Marks. The option to show radial and rectangular patterns is actually greyed out even though there is a pattern in the model.
If I use a folded part view, I can get the hole pattern PCD to show using Automated Centrelines, but the view rotation is off by 11.76 degrees.
Is there any simple way that I can show the hole pattern PCD on my flat pattern view?
I am not a fan of defining custom view orientations at the drawing level since Inventor does not update them parametrically.
