How to relocate a point in a 3D sketch

I have a 3D sketch in which I have defined a variety of points.  This forms the basis of a lofted part.  Good old Sgt Murphy, when I get the part fully defined and add it to an assembly I find that it doesn't fit Smiley Frustrated.

How can I change the location of one of the points in my 3D sketch?

Hi! Could you add dimensions or constraints to the points? If it is grounded or projected, you will need to delete the constraint to free up the point.

Many thanks!

The points were defined using Precise Input.  There are no other constraints involved.  I expected to be offered an option to adjust the co-ordinates when I RMC on a point - but No Smiley Sad!

Hi Vagulus,

3d Transform within the 3D Sketch will give you precise input move.

Click on the Arrow to choose an axis, tap in you movement distance.

Ah Ha!

Works a treat!

Thanks.

Curious that neither my trusty textbook nor AI18 on-line help reveal this dark, arcane, Druidic secret.

Hope you don't get into Christmas trouble for letting the cat out of the bag. Smiley Very Happy
