How to insert multiple pages of PDF into IDW-INV 2024

Using Manage/Insert Object tool I can easily insert a PDF into a drawing IDW file but it always inserts only the first page of a multi-page PDF.

Is it possible to somehow insert the other pages in the PDF? There does not seem to be an option for that.

I'd like to insert each PDF page on a different IDW sheet # for example.

Hi,

It doesn't seem to be able to do that. A workaround would be to save each pdf sheet separately and then insert it.

But I don't think that you are looking for that. May I ask why you want to include many PDF's in your IDW's?

Kind regards,

Joshua

Hi! Only the first page is shown in the OLE object. To show other pages, you will need to move the desirable page to the top and save the PDF as a different file. Then insert it to Inventor.

Many thanks!

I just wanted to use a 2 page vendor drawing PDF on our company sheets instead of re-detailing everything in the vendor drawing. Sounds like it cannot be done without re-arranging or making another new PDF with subsequent pages.

I think, as others have said, you need to use separate pages. I use the free PDFill software which lets you split a PDF into several pages plus many other functions. Might be of help to you.
