How to import a border onto a finished drawing?

Hi all,

I am currently struggling with an issue on my version of Inventor LT 2019.

I have a border that I use for drawings inside my company and a border that I use to send drawings out to customers.

(Confidentiality issues).

I have done a drawing on one border and now decided it needs to be on the other... how can I replace the border on that drawing without having to "re-draw" it all again?

Help?

Make sure the border you want to change it to is in the IDW / DWG

Is it's not, go to the browser and copy it out from the Drawing Resources / Borders folder and paste it into the new one:

copy border.pngpaste border.png

Delete the existing and then insert the new one you want

Please vote for this idea if you are sick of having to first Delete the existing, and then Insert (when it should simply be a "Do you want to replace existing?  Yes/No/Cancel" dialogue box):

@SER4

Don't need too ..

Also believe you can do it via iLogic too now ...

My bet is whatever has the most votes actually gets implemented first...Something can be "Accepted" and take years to be implemented.

and it could be removed ...

But cost also comes into play.    Doesn't matter if it's the most votes,

Also, it's what else is affected by doing this automation too.
