What version of Inventor are you using?

When you insert your first view into a drawing, which is to your first sentence, there are no other views on the drawing.  You can in the edit view window choose the scale as shown below.

The only time you cannot automatically change the view scale is when the view is linked or associated to another view, but that box just above the scale selection can be unchecked giving you the ability to change it.

Beyond this, if this doesn't answer your questions, we will need more of an explanation of what you are trying to do.

Detail Views on Inventor drawings require a Base View.

You can place that Base View outside of the drawing border if you don't want it visible when the drawing is printed.

Hi! I am sorry I don't fully understand the questions. You can copy and paste a drawing view. Or, you change the scale factor like Scott mentioned here.

Regarding the assembly view, I think you are talking about the view direction, right? At the moment, Inventor drawing view does not honor the Design View direction. It is still based on the ViewCube direction or the pre-defined origin direction. To use a custom view direction, you will need to click on the downward button under the ViewCube when placing the view. You will be able to adjust the view direction.

Many thanks!
