Migrating from Inventor xxx to Inventor 2020, issues with mapping screw library

Hi,

year after year or user to user, the same problem with screws that are not resolving in the assembly,

i need now and forever to fix these issues, i don't think my company is paying me to spend hours to resolve hardware library every time Autodesk decide to upgrade Inventor every year,

how to migrate properly from Inventor XXX to the latest Inventor with the automatic resolved hardware when i open the assembly?

Thank you,

Adel

Are you talking about content center hardware or do you have your hardware stored in a library folder somewhere?

Hi Adel,

The first thing you want to do is to make sure the Library paths are correctly defined in the project. Close all Inventor files and go to Get Started -> Project -> look at the lower panel. Are the Library paths properly mapped? Under the Folder Options, where is the CC folder path set to? Make sure it points to where the migrated CC components reside.

Many thanks!
