How to create a joggle at a flange joint?

I've been trying to create a joggle feature in Inventor Sheetmetal similar to this article: Wayne Massey - Experimental Aircraft Builder's Log

I've seen people creating simple joggles using a 0 degree flange or an offset face, but I haven't been able to create a joggle that incorporates a perpendicular face like in the article, or at least one in Sheetmetal that unfolds properly.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks!

Please clarify.

Is this the joggle you're talking about?

Hi, please see this video.

The joggle I'm trying to do is similar to that except there is a face perpendicular (ish) to the joggle face - like in the original article.

Nice video...so this looks like a standard sheetmetal joint in all kinds of fabrication.

So maybe it's something like the attached files?

My Inventor is older so maybe there's a better way to make this in the newer versions?

If there is a simpler or better way, someone else in here can tell you how.

At our company, we use the flange command to create joggles. Just create a flange as usually but set the angle at 0 degrees. Then set the check the box for "Old method" and you are done.
