How to connect two sheet metal faces with a bend when edges are not parallel?

I want to connect two sheet metal faces with a bend.
Bend works if two parallel edges are selected.
Is there a way to connect two faces with a bend if the two edges are not parallel?

Thank you.

Personally I can't visualize what you are saying.

You can't loft your shape as a surface and thicken. Then set your sheet metal to the same value as thicken and unfold?

JDMather,

I am tring to connect five squares with bends, in the attached file "2cone_bend.ipt".

The bend dailog box lets me select one edge, but not a second edge.

Thanks for taking a look.

Will this work?  I just made corner seams with a width of .001" then added the bend.  I hade to delete the faces on the edge and have them heal on the 2 parts that are parallel.  Also make sure all the sheet metal thickness is the same from one file to the next or things won't work right.  Hope this is what you want.

Thanks coreyparks, that worked beautifully.
I did not know about using seams, they make the edges parallel so bend can work.
