How to close this gap

Hi all, I was wondering how you would best close  this gap area highlighted here in the screen shot

I tried to add a 45 deg flange on the vertical edge and then a corner seam  but it wasn't turning out how i hoped.

or would it be better for me to draw a seperate piece then assemble it?

Any help is appreciated, thank you

Hi

Can you sketch on the screen what exactly you want to achieve?

something like this screenshot, without the top corner poking out

ideally would like the bottom corners to meet at the same point

Something like this?

I created two work axes, then a plane to establish the location of the new face. Then Corner Seam to finish.

I created this in 2025, if you have the latest patch for 2024 you should be able to open this.
