How to change default section view in Inventor (currently 'Quarter Section View')

To create a section in a 3D model, by default the section view button displays 'Quarter Section View', see image below. Even after ending a 'Half Section View', the button reverts back to 'Quarter Section View'.

Is there a way to set this button to 'Half Section View' by default? I personally use this more often.

My section tools always defaults to Half Section View and always has.

Have you installed all Updates for your version of Inventor?

A work around solution could be setting up a user command in the view tab:

Right click on the ribbon and select "Customize User Commands"

Set the dropdown list on the right to " .... | View" and add "Half Section View" to the list:

This will add half section view to the ribbon:

Mine is the same, Inv2024 with all updates. I'd always assumed it was just because quarter section is the top of the drop-down list.

This is so annoying.  I am using 2024.3.5 and every time I start a new section view, it defaults to Quarter SV. I then change it to Half and do what I want.  If I place another section view, it will default to Half.  But, if I delete the previous section view, then want to create another, it defaults back to Quarter.

I do think that it defaults to Quarter b/c it is on the top of the list. Not sure what the thinking was for the list arrangement, but it is not how I would have arranged it. I would have the Half at the top of the list, since it is probably the most frequently used.
