How can this operation be done differently?

I'm trying to have a sharp edge at the blue marked spot and not have a visible extrusion cut line at the red-marked area, see the image. I know this could've been done differently it has to but I've had a hard time doing it in another way than this, also doing like I did seems to be wasting references on the history tree so I'm wondering if this could've been done in a more efficient way.

Also, when i try to constrain the bumpers to the actual car i get a space between them and i can't find the issue, the dimensions are correct? See the video of the assembly to find what part i mean.

Another thing, when i mated the two parts i saw that the edge of the bumper was angled with such a small angle so it didn't mate exactly to the car so i had to 3d sketch that edge and then stitch it together to get the straight line but the stitch line is visible, how can i remove the line or is there another way to do this as well? Watch the stitch clip to see the part i area im talking about.
