How can I make money with Inventor?

Do you know with simulation and FEM, or a sheet metal production, only inventor is not enough!

Where are you located? Here in the States you'll need to at least form an LLC to contract yourself out to local businesses. I assume that's what you are wanting to do.

How good are you at cold calling? You'll need to go door to door at times and drum up the business.

How much do you plan to charge? How does it compare to your competition in the area? Do you have a website that showcases your talent?

I have my consulting firm on hold as I'm working full time, but I'm starting to look to drum up work as I have 3 people who could use the income. They all work as contractors on a 1099 basis.

Again, if you're not in the States, things will differ, but if you are, I might be able to find you something based on your abilities.

The "detail drawing" is an image file of poor quality and cannot be clearly read.

I would use a high quality pdf in my portfolio and be prepared to supply in idw or dwg format along with the ipt file.

To make money, you should understand the need of a cad software like inventor in the industry. Assuming you know that. Answer of your question is,

1. You can be a freelancer in an freelancing website

2. You can be a full-time mechanical designer in a particular company

3. You can be a part-time mechanical designer in a particular company

Now, to me, Inventor itself is an industry. If you know this software well, you can do almost all kinds of designs related to metal, plastics, wood etc materials. Now, how can you be able? It depends on your design sense. How a part is created in real life, what are the problems do manufacturers face while producing something and what are their machine specifications. After knowing all the aspects, you can start design. But you must know the software manner well also so that you don't get stop in the process.

Thank you, I spend a lot of time on 3D modeling, I haven't spent much time on detailed drawings, but if you give me a chance I will make you the best because I have a good Inventor team. You can open the Workspaces folder to check the new ipt and idw files, hope to do something with you
