Hollow body part

Hi there,

I've been creating a car for the REA f1 in schools competition when i ran into a problem. The uncompleted car was hollow. I removed a face of the car so i could further define the body to make it more aerodynamic. DO any of you guys have a solution to diagnose the problem?

Thanks,

Andrew

Beginners should never use Delete Face - they don't understand what it does.

There are other techniques that can be used.

Can you ask your instructor to join this discussion?

The uncompleted car was solid until you deleted a face. Deleting a face turns the solid into a surface body because it is no longer an airtight body. "Boundary Patch" both of the holes and "Stitch" everything back together. Done!
