Hole and Thread: changing the values

Hello everyone, 

I would like to change the note Inventor adds by default to a thread. 

At the moment the pitch is automatically displayed, be it fine or normal. I would for it to be displayed only when its a fine pitch (thread). Please see the attached picture, I have tried several times, but to no avail...

Any help greatly appriciated.

Hi, you need to edit the Thread.xls in your Design Data folder. Each thread type has column “Custom Thread Designation”. That is the one you need to change.

Restart Inventor after a change!

Thank RajSchmidt, I had tried that without success. If you say it’s definitely the way to go, I’ll spend some more time on it.
