Hide Tolerance On Thread Callout

I need to hide the tolerance on thread call-outs by default.

I checked Style and Standard Editor and found nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry nothing to add but at least for imperial I do not recall seeing thread tolerances appearing by default.  Almost seems like somebody set that up locally but then maybe metric defaults are different.  Do you have anybody local that could possibly have tweaked your Inventor settings?

Yes, our styles were setup as custom by somebody. That person will not respond to questions regarding this so I need to figure it out on my own.

You were close.  Need to dig deeper.

Thread-Style-01.jpg

Turn off "Use Default".

You need to change EVERY style with "Thread" in it.

Remove the "Fit":

And you need to do that to EVERY dimension style.

I removed <THRC> from every Note Format and nothing changed. I assume that was the wrong variable?

Took a while to figure it out.

More like: Inventor is so ravaged with poorly thought-out "features" that I have to address them on a triage basis.

This was a no-go. Removing <THRC> took thread direction with it. Did Autodesk combine tolerance and direction into the same variable? Please, let this be a nightmare.
