Hi @Anonymous.

Please go to application options --> Display and change the display quality to Smoother and restart Inventor.

If performance isn't a problem for you, you can also change the graphic setting to Quality (depends on your priorities).

Hi jayarajk,

Thanks for reporting!

This is a known case in Inventor 2018. In 2018 we are trying to improve the zoom performance in drawing view by disable automatic refaceting, which means when zoom in to some scale, the view may not show smoother quality as previous.

If you want to see the smoother shade under the current position, select the view and edit, uncheck Shaded style, then recheck Shaded style, the shade will show smoother as before.

Thanks,

-Lisa

Hi jayarajk,

In my side, the graphics display issue happens when zoom in the drawing view, but from your attached picture, it looks the problem happens with zoom out, the shaded view with zoom in has no problem, right? Can you provide more information?

My original reply assumes the case happens with zoom in, if yours is different one, we'd better see whether there's anything wrong.

Thanks,

-Lisa

Have you tried cranking up the display quality?

Hi Jayaraj k,

Have you tried what I suggested above? Trying to reedit the Shaded style, then see whether it works.

Meanwhile, would you please provide me whether this relates with Zoom in or Zoom out?

Thanks,

-Lisa
