Hey everyone, it's Friday again!

I've got a simple product render for a change, had to work on this this week and thought it would make a nice render.

It's a platform module we can attach to our harvesting machines so people can stand on the front of the machine to do their picking or other activities.

Have a nice weekend!

(Mine is a day longer, so... YAY Smiley Very Happy )

Hi everybody,

I showed the rear rim of a chopper I'm designing for fun a couple of weeks ago.

The project is moving along slowly as I don't have allot of spare time.

Anyway, the front fork is finally ready, here's a render of it.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Testing ‘Animate Fade’ in Inventor Studio 2017…

So far, looking good in Preview (no render) mode. I am pleased to see that the timeline is obeyed, and that this works 'straight out of the box'.

(It would be nice to have a smoother transition at the beggining of Fade, though. This transition is not as striking on non-refflective or glossy non-glossy appearances...)

However, air gaps between simultaneously faded parts remain as un-faded ‘artefacts’ when the sequence is rendered in any of the Low, Draft or High settings.  The un-faded artefacts almost disappear when rendering High, with more than 500 iteration per frame – but that’s an impractical setting for me to use, even on a very powerful CAD workstation ;-))

Attached are renders done in Draft, at 2 iterations per frame, and High, at 20 iterations per frame.

Have a good weekend all!

Nothing too fancy to show this week, just a set of cornhole boards I am building and donating to our local Greyhound Rescue group.

These will be auctioned off at their annual Mountain Hounds event later this month.

The last set I built for them brought in a bid of over $300 at the charity auction.

I'm hoping these do as well as the last set.

Happy Friday the 13th!!!  Have a great weekend.
